Working with Resistance Bands

We have been working with resistance bands in our Pilates in the Park classes. Bands can be really helpful stretching aids as well as supporting progression to more advanced exercises. There are lots of different types of resistance bands available, but high strength wide bands are the best – pictured here in black. Covid 19 restrictions mean that it is not safe for me to lend equipment during classes, so I have purchased industrial quantities of band that I sell on in 2 meter lengths at cost price (£3.50). The 2 meter length is not only ideal for working out with but it also doubles up as a handy physical distancing measure! Bands are also very useful to have at home to help relive shoulder back and neck tension from too many hours in front of a screen.
